Why buy an automatic cat feeder? This was a question my wife and I were asking when we were planning to go away for a few days. On a previous short trip, we set up a manual cat feeder for our cat’s food and we put his treats in a small bowl filled to the top. We were hoping that he would just nibble on the treats throughout the day while eating his food.

We decided to get one and we bought a Yuposl automatic cat feeder online (see picture below). It came pretty quickly and we put our cat’s treats in it. We then programed it to dispense treats twice a day. And you know what? It worked like a charm. Just like clock work, the feeder dispensed treats at precisely the right time.
Also, it did not dispense too much either which was great. This dispenser helped train our cat to only have so many treats each day which was great for his health. What a great benefit for such an inexpensive purchase!
