Can cats eat chicken? You would hope so as chicken is one of the world’s greatest food. I love chicken and love it so much I could eat it every day, maybe every meal! I love it baked, fried, sautéed and grilled. Chicken anyway is good for me. But what about my cat? Being a cat lover, I want the best for my feline buddy and food is no different. So can cats eat chicken?
Can Cats Eat Chicken? Of Course!
Yes they can and the answer seems obvious. I have always fed my cats chicken right from my first kitty to my current boy cat. All of them seemed to like chicken. Also, my high quality cat food my feed my furry friend has chicken as the second ingredient and also contains chicken fat. He loves his food! Also, Pet WebMD says that cats are meat eaters and need the high protein that is contained in meat such as chicken. This helps as cat to have a strong heart, to have good vision and healthy reproductive system. The only caution is that you should give your cat meat such as chicken that is raw or spoiled as this would make them sick.
Conclusion
If you love chicken, you cat is going to love it too! But just make sure that it is cooked and not raw or spoiled. Think about how happy you are when you have your favorite dish? This is how your cat will also feel. So the next time you are eating your favorite chicken meal and you see your cat staring at your licking his/her lips. Why not give them a little piece or two? Some might say that you would be spoiling them. However, not only you will be giving them what they need to be healthy, you will be giving them some of the finer things in life. And our feline buddies deserve that and more! Bon Appetit!
